Does the Orthodox Church use real win for communion?
My question is for 3/17. What is the Orthodox teaching on the Kingdom of God? Scripture says the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand. And there will be a new Heaven and a new Earth. How are these related? Are these the same thing?
In the Protestant world, they talk about “advancing the Kingdom.” Does that only mean evangelism? Catholics, I think, would say that just going to Mass advances the Kingdom. What matters for the Kingdom? Could you talk about synergy? I may be asking two questions here – another being what is the Orthodox theology of work? Does our work “advance the Kingdom”?
I know I’ve read some on this, but would appreciate more explanation. (Sorry so wordy! ha!)
My question is for 3/31. Why is the Theotokos refered to as being a Champion General in the Kontakion?
