I’m wondering about the differences between the Septuagint and the Hebrew Scriptures. Could you explain please, and which does the Church use in Liturgy?
I was at the service for the first day of Lent. I noticed at the end – some people kissed the hand of the priest and/or the cross. Can you explain who does this ? (Men, women, children, catechumens? ) When is this done & what is the symbolism/meaning? Is it offensive not to?
Does the Orthodox Church use real win for communion?
